Blog: My bestfriend Alicia love her cats ( very much )

My bestfriend Alicia,a fellow filipina, who live one kilometer away from me, have just called me now,saying,a wild cat have just born 3 babies in their car garage.

She is very happy and want to adopt them.

Alicia is one of my bestfriend here in Germany .She has almost everything in life, a beautiful, newly built home,(in a high mountanous place,),a nice husband,new car(just bought this year), stable job(part time )good health, jolly and faithful friends,travel (almost yearly in Rome and in the Philippines)but, except one, shes not blessed with a child.

Yet,shes not lonely,because she got to have 4 cats,which she adopted.She gave them love and care ,perhaps more than a human mother can give to their children.

The cats were very lucky to have her,they have the best food,own sleeping room,toys,can roam around the whole house and outside in the big yard, until the forest,which is just only at the back .

She gave time to them,playing and talking with them,but,these cats were also loyal to her.They stayed outside and have always waited at her,even late at night,and gave her joy.They danced in front of her ,jumped,sprung joyfully and accompanied her when she was alone.

When we were together,she usually talk about her pets,she said,she was never bored when shes with her cats and no homesick at all.We can really felt, how she love them.

Until she came home, from the holiday in the Philippines ,last April 2006.Her 4 cats were gone.His husband was not always at home,after work,he still helped his brother with his own company.

She was very lonely and told me,that they looked everywhere ,in the forest ,in the nearby towns,but,did not find , and she cried the whole weeks.

She is thinking, that one of her husbands relatives have taken them away from her,because,they could not understand,that shes spending all her salary, for buying their foods and all others they needed.They see it as a luxus for nothing.

They used to tell her, that she love her cats more than anybody else,and animals have to be treated like animals,and not like human beings.(Her cats ate with her together and sometimes slept at her bed ).

But,her husband,upon seeing how lonely she was,she went with her to the home for the animals (Tierheim ) and adopted again a kitten ,but,this time,only one.

She is very happy again,shes not lonely anymore,when shes alone at home.

She is happier now,because she will have 3 some more.

She said,the next holiday,she will leave her cats to me.Well,my little son will be very happy to have them here at home.
