My Neighbor in Germany

We are already neighbors since I come to Germany.She and her husband inherated that nice restaurant in front of our house.He cooks and she serve the Guests.And,they both have no child.

They have a very nice house,many tourist who come to our town do take photos of that house,with restaurant downstair and Guests room upstairs for rent.

Many Guests come to them because of their good food and comfortable house to eat.Not only from here,but,as well as from other places.

This neighbor have no time to talk with me,unleast I come to get inside to eat or drink there.But,its very seldom,because,I usually go to chinese,Italians,Greece ,Türkey or Mc Donalds when I go out with Friends.Or we just see outside and say hello,thats all.

If they have day offs,they go outside and enjoy or relax.One time,as we were in Heidelberg,we have seen us there coincidentally,or in places like in Aschaffenburg about 50 km. away from here .We were happy to meet us there.Seeing your neighbor somewhere else is nice!

And this week I have seen her in our street,and approached her.I talked with her many things and asked her why the restaurant is closed for weeks. She told me,that,she had just gone to vacation and asked at once if I have missed her.

I said of course,I did miss her.I dont know if she believe me.

The next day,she came with me and brought me a big box of clothes and pairs of shoes.As I opened it,I was surprised,lots of expensive things with brand names.

I told my station sister in my work about it,and she told me,that shes only buying her clothes in Boutiques (with International names like Christian Dior ) and I am lucky to have them from her.

Not only I am thankful for the gift she gave me,but,for the kindness of giving them to me.Does it mean, she like me?I hope so.And I feel happy for it.

I have now enough clothes to wear,expensives and elegant,but,I dont know where to wear them.Im still waiting for invitations.

I went now to the church and wore her blouse and pant,(we have the same size ) and her pair of shoes,hope she had seen me,so that she will be happy to see me wearing them.

But,the truth is,Im more comfortable with my jeans and loose t-Shirts.

My Pilipino Friends Who Never Forget
Blog: My Filipino Friends who never forget




They both fetched me in Bus Station in Manila and brought me in Airport last 2005.But,before that,we went to their offices,for breakfast and had lunch together.

My Friends Bong and Roy are both from my province Pangasinan,speak the same native language,( Pangasinan )and of the same ages like me.

Im proud to say that, these 2 Filipino males live in Manila Philippines ,and ,you might believe it or not, we are already friends for many years and stayed Friends until now, despite of the far distance between us as well as seldom communications.

Bong had lived in the same street at my parents house , (or in other words,we were neighbors ),come from good house,father a principal in our high school and mother a teacher as well as from intelligent family,being all members (sisters and brothers ) honored students.

He was our president in our teenagers Club in our Barrio and was my highschool boyfriend.He is very intelligent and belong to an affluent family in our place.

He studied in Mapua University engineering with top board exam and found a dream job at once, till he reached one of the top position.

He always come to different countries in Europe ,for business trip since early 1980s, and never forget to drop here in our house in Germany for few days stay.

And through his visit here,he was always with Roy, his Boss ,who became my bestfriend too .He is also nice ,bright,witty and we understand us well.

During their stay here in Germany,we showed them some nice places ,likeHeidelberg,Aschaffenburg,Würzburg,Coburg,Bamberg,but,mostly in Frankfurt, also to buy electronics there.They like made in Germany very much.

So when we are in the Philippines,we visit them also,in their work, in which we enjoy being served with coffee with their secretaries,dine with them in fine restaurants in Manila,ride with their expensive cars,or they get us from the Bus station in Manila in going to Airport.

Both are married,but, their partners became my friends too,and keep the good relationship with them together.I slept already in their houses with their family ,during my holiday there ,as well as visited me in my home in the Philippines .

Sometimes,when we are all together in our province,we enjoy having fun with our Folks,like last new years eve 3 years ago, we joined them through dancing and eating ( the whole night,) and stayed awake until 9 am .The whole barrio know that we are bestfriends!

Being here in Germany ,it is only Roy ,who always communicate with me in internet.He never forget sending Friendship messages,and Im thankful for his thoughtfulness.

But, when Im at home in the Philippines ,I have more contact with Bong, since ,he always visit his parents, who only live at the neighborhood of my parents.Or he invite me in going out with his family.

And yes,they both are succesful in life,each own house in Manila,Bong ride in a new brand car Honda and Roy has BMW.(new ).Their hobbies are electronics and travel.

Though,both are dream men (handsomes,rich,bright,good jobs,car,house and so on ) to all women in the Philippines,they say that they are faithful to their wives,because both are religious and believe in the ten commandments of God.

I can just say, that Im really proud to be their Friends.
