What I am doing on Christmas Holiday 2006

Blog: How are my Online Friends doing on christmas holidays?


I have 0ne week day offs this christmas holiday, so,have time for my family,household chores,friends,relatives,hobbies and yes,to go out,yet, have also lots of time thinking of my online friends,all over the world,what you all there are doing.

I know each and everyone of us,have different traditions on how to celebrate our christmas,and Im really thinking what my Muslims,chinese,Jews,Buddhisms,pagans as well as my christians Friends are doing now on their christmas holidays.

I hope you are all enjoying your holidays and got the best Gifts from your love ones.( are all your xmas wishes all fullfilled? ).

Well as for me,if you want to know, Im fine, busy attending many invitations of my Friends and relatives.

I was almost shock this morning as I saw my weight .I have added more than 5 kgs within 2 weeks.Everywhere I go, I see lots of Philippines foods,all my favorites,I cant avoid eating them.So,no wonder !

Last 23th of December, my friend here in Germany,(only 10 km. away ) who come also from Pangasinan like me, invited me for christmas dinner and was surprise to see there my cousin Vilma .She stayed in my home for one year, before she married her hubby.We were all from same place in the Philippines,so,we enjoyed our meeting a lot, of course ,with lots of Philippines food.

On the 24th of December, Ive just stayed at home,to prepare our dinner,we exchanged our gifts very early,since, I have wanted to go to the church on that evening at 10 pm.(Christmette )

And know what I got from my family and friends? Lots of chocolates.Wow,the more Ill get more pounds! But, I still said thank you! (not only for the gifts I got,but,also for thinking of me ).

Yesterday ,on the 25th of December,we had lunch at home,of course, cooked my favorite Ente (duck ) baked in backoven with rice and salad.

Then went out of house to visit my sister Veronica.We had our coffee there and dinner.I gave my brother in law a bottle of wine,my sister a box of chocolates,since,she is fond of it.

We stayed there overnight,but, woke up early,today is 26th of December,we have visited three relatives in all.

After breakfast, at about 10 am,we went to my cousin Ludy, to visit her ,though,shes always busy helping her hubby in his own restaurant.

She work there as all around woman,(waitress,cook helper and help to manage the 2 restaurants ).She dont have even time to visit me,so, I have to go there to see her and greet her on christmas.

We had our lunch there,and my cousin,though busy,she entertained us well,and took time to talk with me.

After lunch,we drove to my cousin Isabel,she was my playmate in the Philippines and one of my favorite. I have missed her already.

She served us with her self made cakes and cookies , stayed there longer talking with her.

Last 2005,we we went together in the Philippines for holiday and spent most of her time in my home there.

Before going home,we dropped to our German relatives,to greet them too.We surprised them with an unexpected visit,but,they were happy to see us.

I have thought of visiting them, ,since they never forget me sending lots of self-made cookies,baked from them.

They offered us something to eat,but,we refused it,we have eaten lots of cookies and cakes from my cousin Isabel,and dont feel hungry anymore.

That was for today, Im now at home,and tomorrow is working days again,but,not for me,Im still free until Thursday,so I can still enjoy my christmas holiday.
